Actors Fund of America
The Actors Fund assists those working in theater, film, television, radio, music, dance, opera and circus. The Fund offers a broad spectrum of programs including comprehensive social services, health care services, employment and training, and housingPrograms are administered through offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, and eligibility varies by program.

Al and Malka Green Artists' Health Centre - Ontario, Canada
The Al and Malka Green Artists' Health Centre offers both medical and complementary care to professional and performing artists and to students and staff at post-secondary arts institutions. Their specialized practitioners focus on the specific health care issues and needs of artists, providing a holistic approach to health. A subsidy fund is available to allow artists of limited means to access the center.

Al Hirschfeld Free Clinic - NYC
The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic provides free health care to uninsured and underinsured entertainment professionals ages 18-64 in the New York City area. To be eligible for services, you must have either have an active membership in an entertainment union or be able to provide supporting documentation of your employment in the entertainment industry.

Artist Access Program at Woodhull Medical Center - NYC
This program is sponsored by the Woodhull Medical and the North Brooklyn Health Network in New York City. Allows artists through performances or interactive programs for patients, to exchange their art for health care credits. Credits accrued in the artist's personal account can be used in lieu of dollars to cover sliding scale fees in Woodhull's HHC Options program.

Artists’ Health Insurance Resource Center (AHRIC)
Provides state-by-state health care and health insurance information geared towards artists, national telephone support and workshops, as well as in-person counseling in New York City and Los Angeles.

CERF+ Studio Protector Online Business Insurance Resources

Fractured Atlas
Members of Fractured Atlas may apply through the organization for a wide variety of insurance types geared towards artists, such as event insurance, equipment insurance, workers compensation, and even a special insurance program for fire performers. Fractured Atlas charges insurance buyers a binding fee in exchange for finding, packaging, and administering the insurance plans. The organization also provides detailed guides for artists seeking health insurance.

Harkness Center for Dance Injuries - NYC
Based at the NYU Langone Medical Center, the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries provides injury care and preventative resources to the dance community, including subsidized and free dance clinics, physical therapy, and workshops. Services are provided to uninsured dancers on a sliding fee scale according to income. No dancer is turned away due to financial hardship. New York State residents who are uninsured, have exhausted their insurance benefits, or are otherwise unable to pay for medically necessary services may qualify for financial assistance through the Charity Care or Special Assistance Fund by contacting (212) 598-6054.

New York City Free Clinic
The NYCFC provides free healthcare services to uninsured adults age 18 or older. Services include specialty referrals, counseling, patient education, social services, and screening and registration for public health insurance. All new patients must be seen by a social worker at 16th street to look at their eligibility. Free appointments are scheduled for Saturday mornings, with services available for a sliding scale fee on other days.

Springboard Artists' Access to Health Care (AAH) - Minnesota
Artists, arts administrators and their families may access free Artists’ Access to Healthcare (AAH) vouchers to be used, like a gift certificate, towards the cost of services at low-cost clinics and health organizations in the Twin Cities and Lake region of Minnesota. There are no income requirements. If you are uninsured or underinsured, you qualify.
