WriterHouse is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation in Charlottesville, Virginia, dedicated to the support of authors of all levels and genres. It offers:
Work Space for Writers ― quiet, comfortable space, away from daily distractions and coffeehouse clatter.
Writing Classes and Seminars ― instruction in fiction, memoir, creative non-fiction and special workshop topics.
Critique Groups ― honest, compassionate, constructive criticism from peers and trained facilitators.
Readings and Events ― accomplished writers sharing their work and insights.
Community ― a gathering space for local working writers and enthusiasts of the literary arts
For $50, members receive:
Discounts on writing classes and workshops
Advance notification of new writing classes
Eligibility to apply for workspace and conference room rental
Admission to public areas of house during open hours
Admission to members-only events
