Operating under the auspices of the College of Fine Arts, the PAC serves as a "culture for learning" for faculty, students and artists alike and as a center for the creation and cultivation of new American art. Description of Program |
ArtesAméricas presents the best in Latin American and U.S. Latino performing artists to new audiences across the United States. Selected artists receive support for touring in the United States in the areas of fee support, educational materials, marketing, and technical/production assistance for a one year funding cycle.

Tour support, educational materials written specifically about the artists and the countries they represent, marketing, and technical/production assistance. Selection does not guarantee a tour in the United States. Financial provisions will assist but not fully support the cost of touring. Amount varies from year to year. |

Selection Process/Criteria |
A selection panel comprised of agents, presenters, artists, and Latin American experts, representing the U.S. and Latin America, convene in the first quarter of each year to select artists. Selections are made based on artistic merit and ability to tour in the U.S. |

While artist submissions are accepted year-round, please note that our series generally runs from September until May and that in most cases, artists are selected between 12-18 months in advance. |
