Mission Statement Creative Capital Foundation is a national nonprofit organization that supports artists pursuing innovative approaches to form and content in literature, film/video, performance, and visual arts, and in emerging fields through funding, counsel and career development services.

Description of Program Creative Capital provides integrated financial and advisory support to artists pursuing innovative and adventurous projects in five disciplines: Emerging Fields, Film/Video, Literature, and Performing and Visual Arts. Artists receive a $10,000 initial award soon after the winners are announced, and they can receive up to $40,000 more towards their project. Additional services provided include consultations with Artist Services staff; Artist Retreats and Regional Gatherings; annual meetings with legal, financial, marketing, PR, and web consultants; and ten meetings with a strategic planning coach.
