| Description of Service |
The Oxford American welcomes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry submissions, as well as proposals for Points South and feature articles. The Oxford American also welcomes art and photography submissions.
Issues appear in March, June, September, and December. Our annual music issue, which concentrates on the unique music and culture of a different Southern state each year, appears in December. |

Winter Issue: September 1
The Oxford American accepts electronic manuscript submissions only through Submittable. Electronic submissions are subject to a nominal fee to cover administrative costs.
Standard mail submissions are accepted; however, they are not preferred.
If submitting artwork, images may be uploaded via Submittable or emailed to [email protected] CDs or DVDs may be sent via mail. |
