The Writers Alliance of Gainesville (WAG) promotes, encourages and supports aspiring and experienced regional writers. This goal is accomplished via WAG monthly meetings, public readings, ongoing small critique groups, a literary review, writers’ contests, and collaborations with schools and civic organizations to foster creative expression through the written word. |

| Description of Service |
Each pod, or writer's critique group, has three to seven members and meets regularly at least once a month. Each has a leader who keeps the meetings on track and maintains communication between the pod and WAG’s pod coordinator. Members of most pods write in the same genre. |

To join a Critique Pod, writers must become members of Writers Alliance of Gainesville. Annual membership dues are $36. |
